Nursery and Reception - Early Years Foundation Stage
Mrs Kear-Smith and Miss L Ayres
We are delighted to welcome you to our Early Years Unit.
We hope that by visiting you will get a ‘feel’ for all that happens in our fantastic unit. We celebrate the achievements of all our children both at school and achievements at home, our children and families are at the heart of everything we do.
In our Early Years Unit we have highly committed, experienced and friendly staff who care about all our children, always going the extra mile. We firmly believe that education is not just school based and learning happens all the time, everywhere! We aim to build on this belief and work closely with Parents and Carers to build on the skills and promote lifelong learning both at school and at home. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together so we aim to share this learning journey with you.
Please feel free to approach us at any time with either a learning experience or a concern. There will always be key members of our Early Years staff available for you to speak to. In addition to this, we also hold regular meetings between you, as parents and your child’s Key Worker/class teacher to discuss achievements, concerns and your child’s progress.
