High Bank School is a Junior, Infant and Nursery school that prides itself on being an integral part of the local community. We have approximately 150 children on roll ranging from Nursery to Year 6.
Our motto is clear “All Different, All Valued.”
The governors and staff believe that children work better and learn more in an atmosphere of friendliness but within a framework of good organisation which promotes positive behaviour. Our OFSTED report (2016) indicated that "pupils clearly enjoy coming to school" and "Staff work exceptionally hard to ensure

Emphasis is placed upon the establishment of good relationships between staff and children and we believe strongly in the partnership between home and school. We want families to be actively involved in supporting children's learning and the school. OFSTED (2016) noted that "School staff are particularly successful

We aim for children to develop awareness of responsibilities towards themselves, others, and the environment. They are actively encouraged to make positive contributions to their own education, school and community in general.
